10.07.09 | What's New for Fall
Hello, all! Thought we'd just pop in to
say hello, as things are moving along
slowly but surely here. Kristi is in NYC as you read this, doing more
writing
for her new album and making some other plans as well (more surprises to
be
revealed at a later date!)... we, on the other hand, are slogging away at
html code
behind our giant mugs of the delicious Red tea that Kristi brought back from
Argo Tea in Chicago when she went to Lollapalooza back in
August.
So we're confident in telling you that you're
going to like the new website!
We also think you're going to really like Kristi's new music, too... which
is now
scheduled for 2010... and we're quite sure the new songs are going to be
well
worth the wait. But, you know, we could be slightly biased, since we've
been
being treated to scattered previews of them here and there.
Dig those sweaters out of storage, and we'll be back soon!

HAPPY SUMMER
EVERYONE!
In spite of the horrendous lack of updates to the site as of
late, we're pleased as punch
to report that not only have we begun our massive revamping of this very
website, but Kristi
has also finally resumed tracking on her new album, although what form
that will take has
yet to be revealed! (We love a good mystery.)
We ask for your patience, as you may find lots of broken links, biscuit
wrappers, and other
such nonsense lying about if you choose to be brave enough to venture through
the now
categorised as "old" website... but we think it'll be well worth it.
While-U-Wait, you can follow Kristi on Twitter, where's she's slowly but
surely documenting
the writing/demoing/tracking/mixing processes, as well as commenting on various
other tidbits
of interesting info, and even sharing a few photos here and there.
Feel free to drop us a note in the meantime, and let us know what you'd like
to see on the new
and improved Kristi Kates official website! (Which will now be viewable,
incidentally, at
www.kristikates.net and
www.kristikates.co.uk!)
